Relay for Life is a 24-hour event in which volunteers continuously walk around a track showing their support in the fight against cancer.  Relay for Life helps to raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer by helping to fund research.   Each year, more than 3.5 million people in 5,000 communities across the United States gather to take part in this global phenomenon. Thanks, in part to generous contributions to Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society helps people to get well, stay well, find cures and fight back against cancer.   Funds that are raised through Relay for Life help to create a world with more cancer survivors and more birthdays. “We were all so excited to be a part of this fantastic event that brings people together in the community,” said Tom Neumaier, VP of Operations at MAC Builders.   Design Consultant Christina Reilly added: “We are honored to be asked to support wonderful people and the great work that the Cancer Society of America does.”
